Distinctive Journal Square Urby launches leasing (photos)

At 25 stories, Journal Square Urby and its high-profile, high-art exterior is ready to welcome renters, as leasing begins in Jersey City.

Located at 532 Summit Ave., at Pavonia Avenue, Urby announced the launch Oct. 7. The collection of 317 apartments boasts a spot directly across from the Journal Square PATH station.

Marking the seventh Urby property to launch nationally and second in Jersey City the brand is a joint venture between founder and CEO David Barry and Brookfield Properties. Imaginative design, modern amenities and a hospitality-driven experience define Urby's luxury communities.

The collection of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences features wide plank floors and upscale kitchen finishes. Additionally, select units offer private terraces.

Property highlights include a public caf integrated into the lobby, slated to open later this year; a state-of-the-art fitness center with an adjoining yoga studio; heated rooftop pool and garden, complete with BBQ grills; a parlor for private events; work-from-home spaces; and a dog park.

Urby launched in 2016. Future developments will arrive in Fishtown, Pa.; Washington, D.C.; and Wynwood, Fla.
