Albion man dies in motorcycle crash during police chase
CHURUBUSCO/WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - An Albion man died in a motorcycle crash Thursday evening during a police chase. At 7:16 p.m., a Noble County Sheriff's deputy tried to pull over a motorcyclist, Kyle J. Garrett, 37, who was traveling south on SR 9 at 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Motorcyclist killed in Churubusco crash following high-speed pursuit, police say
WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - The Noble County Sheriff’s Department says a 37-year-old Albion man was killed in a crash following a high-speed chase Thursday evening. Police say around 7:15 p.m., an officer tried to pull over a speeding motorcyclist who was going more than 20 mph over the posted speed limit along SR 9 in Noble County. They say the motorcyclist then turned onto CR 300 S and refused to stop, so the deputy started a high-speed police pursuit.
Motorcyclist dead after pursuit, crash on US 33 in Churubusco
CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (WANE) — A man died Thursday when his motorcycle crashed following a pursuit on U.S. 33 in Churubusco. Whitley County dispatch initially confirmed with WANE 15 that area police and EMS responded to a crash that happened on U.S. 33 following a police pursuit across county lines. Noble County dispatch confirmed the pursuit began in Noble County.
