Dead infant found in Nodaway County
(Maryville) -- Northwest Missouri authorities are still investigating last month's discovery of a dead baby at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park in Maryville. Maryville Public Safety officials say a park employee found the deceased male infant's body in a remote area of the park shortly before 11 a.m. May 25th. The employee promptly notified the Northwest Regional Communication Center. A Maryville officer responded immediately and secured the location.
