Washington man sentenced for fatal Nebraska crash that killed two
FURNAS COUNTY, Neb — A Washington man has been sentenced in connection to a crash that killed two people in Furnas County last year. Kyiaz Ulanov, 29, of Lynnwood, Washington, was sentenced Thursday to two years and six months on two counts of motor vehicle homicide. He was given credit for 393 days served.

Nebraska man sentenced for hiding fugitive for four years
An Alma man charged federally after prosecutors say he harbored or concealed a man from arrest for four years has been sentenced. David Sikes, 69, was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court to three years probation on one count of harboring or concealing a person from arrest. The charge was alleged to have occurred between Jan. 17, 2018, until at least Jan. 14, 2022.
