Registration open for Devon SportsLab sports clinics

OKLAHOMA CITY Students ages 8-13 are invited to register for the Devon SportsLab Campus Clinics at the University of Oklahoma (OU) on Saturday, July 27. The soccer clinic starts at 9 a.m. and the football clinic starts at 2 p.m.

Devon SportsLab is an interactive workshop that enhances students' skills by teaching the science behind the sport. Concepts are demonstrated by the experts, University of Oklahoma student-athletes.

Drills include fundamentals of throwing, demonstrations on how to improve defensive coordination and footwork, strategy behind passing and ways to gain better ball control and dribble technique.

A registration fee is required. Each Campus Clinic participant will receive a T-shirt and an autographed poster.

Devon SportsLab is provided through a partnership between Devon Energy, Engage Learning and OU. The goal is to spark students’ interest in STEM through sports.
