New public access waterfront landing opens in Portland
PORTLAND, Maine — The city of Portland completed a project this summer that's been years in the making. A new public access waterfront landing is now open in Amethyst Park. The 300-foot Mavodones Landing is named after one of the city's longest-serving council members, Nicholas Mavodones Jr., who also has a deep connection to Portland's waterfront.
Robbery suspect nabbed after Biddeford hit and run

Portland drug dealer sentenced to 7 years in prison
PORTLAND (WGME) -- A Portland man will spend seven years behind bars after he was caught on camera selling meth and fentanyl in two separate instances. A judge sentenced 39-year-old Tyler Campbell on Tuesday to seven years in prison followed by four years of supervised release for distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl and possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was also ordered to forfeit $2,189 in drug proceeds found in his possession at the time of his arrest.
