Unemployment inched lower in Maine's three major urban areas in June. The federal, Bureau of Labor Statistics reports Bangor's jobless rate went from 2.7% in May to 2.6% in June. Maine teens arrested after escaping Long Creek
SOUTH PORTLAND (WGME) -- Police say the two Maine teens who escaped from Long Creek Youth Development Center and carjacked a woman in South Portland have been arrested. Police say a woman was forcibly removed from her vehicle by 18-year-old Davyn Flynn of Portland and a 16-year-old boy around 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Liberty Commons apartment complex. The teens allegedly told the victim they had a weapon, but one was never shown, according to police.
