COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Two people were injured following an overnight shooting in Columbus. Police were called to the 1000 block of Floyd Road, near Buena Vista Road, shortly before 11 p.m. Friday. A nonprofit nonpartisan watchdog group filed a lawsuit Friday charging the State Election Board with violating Georgia’s Open Meetings Act after meeting last week without legally required public notice or a quorum.
