According to the North Adams Police Department, over the last 14 days, officers, the Berkshire County Drug Task Force, and the Berkshire County Special Response Team executed two search warrants on two homes within the city as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
One man was arrested during the first search warrant after the following was seized:
Approximately (26.3) grams of cocaine/crack cocaine
Approximately $2,563
Ruger Mark .22 handgun (stolen from New York)
.22 caliber ammunition
Digital scale and packaging materials
The man was charged with:
Trafficking Cocaine 18-36 Grams (26.3 grams)
Possession of a Firearm without LTC/FID
Possession of Firearm in Commission of Felony (Trafficking Cocaine)
Possession of Ammunition without FID
Possession of Ammunition without FID
Firearm Violation with (3) Prior Violent/Drug Crimes
Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)

After the second search warrant, two men were arrested after the following was seized from the residence:
Approximately (214.2) grams of cocaine/crack cocaine
Approximately (200) bags of suspected heroin
Approximately $875
Digital scale and manufacturing materials
Both of the men were charged with:
Trafficking Cocaine 200 Grams or More (214.2 Grams)
Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin
Conspiracy
The names of the men who were arrested have not yet been released.
