Addison man arrested on animal cruelty charges at rural Sandwich property following investigation by local, state law enforcement
Following a lengthy investigation by the Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) and the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, an Addison man was arrested on animal cruelty charges in rural Sandwich Tuesday morning. 60-year-old Mohammad M. Raza-Ahsan was taken into custody on two counts of cruel treatment of animals and three counts of animal cruelty-owner's duties at the property located in the 17000 block of Wagner Road.
