VNA Health Group announces leadership transition in hospice and palliative care
After eight years of service at VNA Health Group in Neptune, Dr. Marianne Holler, chief medical officer for hospice, palliative medicine and the Parker Advanced Care Institute, will transition from her full-time role to an advisory position with the organization as she prepares for retirement. Rutgers has its class of 2026 quarterback locked in after landing a commitment from three-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar of La Salle (Glenside, Pa.) on Monday night. Devils Lose Veteran Leader Brendan Smith to Free Agency
Following a lackluster 2023-24 season, the New Jersey Devils are looking to bounce back after not qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The team has already solved their glaring issue between the pipes by acquiring goaltender Jakob Markström. However, once free agency opened, they needed to make quite a few roster decisions, one of which involved the oldest member of the team: Brendan Smith. His time in New Jersey came to an end after he became a free agent on July 1, signing a one-year contract with the Dallas Stars, worth $1 million.
Canadiens Make Room for Hutson & Mailloux With Kovacevic Trade
The Montreal Canadiens have dealt defenceman Johnathan Kovacevic to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. Kovacevic had spent the last two seasons in a Canadiens uniform, playing in 139 games and scoring nine goals and 28 points. He was claimed off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets in October 2022.
