    Police arrest man who broke into his wife’s Coosaw Creek home and refused to leave

    NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A man who broke into his wife’s Coosaw Creek home and barricaded himself inside has been arrested.

    Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a home off Club Course Drive around 6 a.m. regarding a call about a break-in.

    The homeowner said her estranged husband had broken into the home and refused to leave. She was able to safely get out of the house, according to an agency spokesman.

    North Charleston officers entered the home around 11:30 a.m. and arrested the man without incident.

    Marlon Dwight Brabham, 51, is being charged with first-degree burglary and violation of a restraining order. He is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
