Every 1 Voice Matters Hosts 7th Annual Back to School Event in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Every 1 Voice Matters is set to host its 7th Annual Back to School Event on Sunday, August 11th.

The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the CCSD District 4 Stadium, located at 3659 W Montague Ave in North Charleston.

Attendees can enjoy free hot dogs and drinks provided by the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD), with additional food vendors also on-site.

Children can look forward to a variety of fun activities, including Skate Boss, jump castles, game trucks, face painting, and more.

The event will feature a range of giveaways, including 1,000 bookbags filled with school supplies, 200 new sneakers, 200 new uniforms, academic assessments, and free haircuts.

Music will be provided by DJ Dynce, with live hosting from Z93 Jamz and Star 99.7.

There will also be various vendors and community partners offering valuable resources and information.

The event is presented in partnership with Healthy Blue, Acts of Kindness, A Second Chance Resource Center, and The Hope Group.
