Rockwell Kent artworks on display at SUNY Plattsburgh
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - More than 100 pieces from iconic New York artist Rockwell Kent are now on display at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Burke Gallery. Kent’s works were donated 50 years ago to the college and are normally housed in the Rockwell Kent Gallery. That’s closed for renovations until the fall, so now there’s a new exhibit inside the John Myers building.

SUNY Plattsburgh has added a master in social work to its 17 existing graduate degree programs. “The introduction of the MSW program is a testament to our commitment to expanding educational opportunities and addressing the critical needs of our community,” said SUNY Plattsburgh President Alexander Enyedi. “This new program will equip students with the advanced skills and knowledge required to make a profound impact in the field of social work, preparing them to become leaders and advocates for social justice and well-being.”
