BOGART, Ga. — A Georgia mother is recovering at home after she was bitten by a venomous spider. Jessica Rogue, 44, was rushed to the hospital July 1 with multiple bites from a brown recluse spider. It happened in a shed in the back of her home in Bogart.
Marburger Farm Antique Show arrives in Atlanta this week
ATLANTA - The renowned Marburger Farm Antique Show, a favorite among interior designers, collectors, and culture enthusiasts since 1997, is set to host its first event outside of Round Top, Texas. From July 17-20, the show will take place at the historic Philip Shutze-designed Southern Exchange Ballrooms in downtown Atlanta. Covington revises fees for use of Legion Field
COVINGTON — An increase in fees charged for rental of facilities at Legion Field has been approved by the Covington City Council. Council member Jared Rutberg proposed the fee increases at the July 1 council meeting, saying that he’d like to see the facility at 3173 Mill St. become more accessible to city and county residents.
