Tom Pelissero Believes Steelers Will ‘Give Russell Wilson Every Opportunity To Be The Guy’
After the Pittsburgh Steelers signed QB Russell Wilson in free agency, it seemed like that would be their big move in the quarterback market. However, shortly after that, general manager Omar Khan made a shocking move and traded for Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields. Hartford Falls 3-1 Against Pittsburgh
Back on the road, Hartford Athletic falls 3-1 for their second match-up against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. The Green and Blue had a difficult start in the first half with three yellow cards along with three goals from Pittsburgh. With a penalty shot for the first one, it was a difficult moment for goaltender Monroe who dove the opposite way for a tricky strike. The momentum was down but that was until Mamadou Dieng had scored his second goal for the club in the 34th minute with an assist from Emmanuel Samadia with a striking header straight into the goal to put Hartford on the board 3-1.
Late double play provides 'a little nail in the coffin' after fluky hit
Good teams always seem to find a way to overcome miscues or fluky plays the way Oneil Cruz, Luis Ortiz and the Pirates did Saturday night at PNC Park. The offense was coming off a two-run sixth inning that featured a run-scoring hit by Cruz and Ortiz was dealing through six scoreless innings against the team with baseball's best record. But when J.T. Realmuto led off the seventh by reaching on a cheap liner that Cruz initially misjudged and couldn't get a glove on with a leaping attempt, it appeared as if the Phillies could be on the verge of answering...

The Pittsburgh Steelers are rapidly approaching the beginning of 2024 training camp. Several members of the 2024 Steelers are on or near the final year of their contracts. Though it’s certainly possible to land on...
