Music and Muscle Cars Aplenty at Kam’s Logging Supplies Cruise-In
YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Hundreds gathered in downtown Youngsville over the weekend for the 3rd annual Kam’s Logging Supplies Cruise-In. The 2-day event drew more than two dozen cars, multiple vendors and food trucks, and a pair of musical acts to West Main Street. DoD Requiring New ID for Retired Military
JULY 22, 2024 – Beginning in 2026, the legacy Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card will no longer be accepted for access to benefits, privileges, or DoD bases. According to the DoD Common Access Card website, USID cards are issued to retired military and Reserve members, dependent family members of uniformed Service members, and other eligible individuals in accordance with DoD policy. On July 31, 2020, the DoD started issuing the Next Generation USID cards at select DoD ID card facilities with a phased implementation for all facilities which was completed in December that year.

An interesting thing has happened. The Pirates have become a dangerous team. Before the Cardinals series against the Braves happened, the talking heads on the radio were talking about how likely it was that the Cardinals would start the post-All Star break 2-4, and while there was some disagreement, it seemed to them more likely they would lose 2 of 3 to the Pirates than the Braves. A vehicle smashed into a house in Unity Township on Sunday. Westmoreland County dispatchers say emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Bethel Church Road at 2:19 p.m. Youngstown volunteer firefighters say one person from inside the car was taken to a local hospital.
