Unless you have a scheduled C-section, you never really know where or when you're going to go into labor, but you usually have at least a vague idea of when to expect the big event. Sometimes, though, those first labor pains can take you by surprise...especially if you didn't even know you were pregnant in the first place!

One Arkansas woman is "still in shock" after entering a Golden Corral restaurant in North Little Rock to have dinner — and leaving with a brand new baby! Tayvia Woodfork had no idea she was pregnant when she sat down to eat with her family. Soon she started having stomach pains and went to the bathroom, but when she didn't come back to the table after 10 minutes, her mom, Tameka Woodfork, went after her...and what happened next would change their lives!

As Today reported, it quickly became apparent that Tayvia needed medical assistance , and 911 was called. Tayvia delivered a healthy baby boy not long after the paramedics arrived on the scene, though she hadn't experienced any pregnancy symptoms up until that point. The baby's name was inspired by his unusual birth: Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork.

"'When we walked out, everybody was clapping and people were lined up to see,' Tameka told Today ."

Golden Corral gave the mom a "box of baby essentials" and a gift card for the restaurant — which would be the perfect place for the little boy's first birthday celebration !

    What Is Cryptic Pregnancy?

If you've ever dealt with pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness or even just the discomfort of walking around with a giant, heavy bump, it might seem impossible that someone would be able to carry a baby to term without knowing they were expecting . But while this phenomenon — known as cryptic pregnancy — isn't common, it definitely does happen, according to Parents.

"Research shows that 1 in 475 pregnancies can classify as a cryptic pregnancy, meaning the pregnancy isn't discovered until at least 20 weeks. Even more rare, about 1 in 2,500 people don't know they're expecting until delivery.

A person may not be aware they are pregnant when they have a cryptic pregnancy because there are no typical pregnancy signs like fatigue, nausea and vomiting, missed period, or abdominal pain, says Rebekah Diamond, MD, a pediatric hospitalist in New York City and assistant professor of pediatrics at Columbia University."

Other reasons why a woman might not realize she's pregnant include a less-than-noticeable baby bump, a false pregnancy test, and a history of irregular periods. Cryptic pregnancies can be risky mainly because of a lack of prenatal care, but oftentimes babies are born perfectly healthy...as little Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork proves!
