A man was killed in Arizona after the warehouse he worked in collapsed, leaving behind a son born just two weeks earlier. The Arizona man, presumptively identified by authorities as Oswaldo Antonio Montoya Torres, was working the night shift at the Freeport warehouse on July 24 when a downburst hit. HealthJox LLC is pleased to announce that Mayor Adams, Governor Hochul, and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) has granted HealthJox LLC a portion of the announced $4.2 Million in State Grants to Support Youth Team Sports across all 5-boroughs. Dewry DuRoi Bradford, CEO of HealthJox LLC launched his health & sports program – funded by the DYCD beginning July 1, 2024. After the highly anticipated 7th annual HealthJox Festival, the program will commence on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Philippa Schuyler Middle School to provide youth ages 12-17 with team sports and mental health programming.
