NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A small plane made an emergency landing at North Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand Airport on Monday night, officials said.

North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue crews were sent to the area around 11 p.m. after a reported emergency landing. Once they arrived, they found an aircraft on the runway without its landing gear down.

Nobody was hurt. The airplane was kept in place until MYR Airport Fire and Federal Aviation Administration officials got on scene.

According to FAA records, the fixed-wing, seven-seat Piper PA32R is registered to Dover, Del.-based Franks Flying. Two people were aboard at the time of the incident.

No further information was immediately available.
