    U.P. Railroad employees plan to participate in rally against vaccine mandate

    NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A Medical Freedom Rally is being held at the Lincoln County Courthouse on Saturday, October 16, from noon to 4 p.m. While the rally was planned prior to the announcement to Union Pacific Railroad employees that they would be required to get a COVID-19 vaccine by December 8 or be disqualified for employment due to medical reasoning, the rally is adjusting to include the “plight of the railroaders,” according to organizer Brenda Fourtner of North Platte.     north Platte was hit hard by the 1918-1919 flu in part because so many railroad crew coming and going and being exposed and bring it back. some of these folks may have lost great grandparents to that virus for which there was no vaccine. irrationality has no bounds.

The way that the organization does this is that people drop off their medications to the drop off place, which is at the District 177 Mall. From there, the organization organizes and dispose of every type of medications such as over the counter, prescriptions and pet prescription medications. No needles or sharp objects were permitted.
