BERLIN, Vt. — A Barre City man has been accused of attacking a pregnant nurse during a visit to the hospital on Friday. The Berlin Police Department charged 62-year-old Michael Partlow with a number of violations, including assault on a protected professional, disorderly conduct, criminal threatening, trespass and violating conditions of release for an incident at Central Vermont Medical Center.

Driver in fatal Williston crash charged with gross negligent operation
WILLISTON, Vt. — A driver involved in adeadly crash that left one person dead in Williston earlier this month has been charged following an investigation into the incident. The Williston Police Department said Shaina Levesque has been charged with gross negligent operation with death resulting and gross negligent operation with serious bodily injury resulting for an Aug. 8 crash.
