Haunted presentation set for North Port Public Library

NORTH PORT — Marshall O’Donovan will host a free presentation at the North Port Public Library, showing hundreds of pictures of images that may be paranormal.

The photos, which he captured over the years at the Edison and Ford winter estates in Fort Myers while working in security there, will be showcased at 1 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Veranda Room.

He would regularly put his camera up to the windows and snap a photo in the dark on his shifts.

Now he has a large catalog which he is touring around with in the area.

O’Donovan’s series of pictures is called “Faces in the Windows.” The first shot was taken in 2009 and the last in 2014.

He never believed in the paranormal before, he said, but seeing the faces changed his beliefs.

He has given a similar presentation at the Port Charlotte Library, and dozens attended the event.

O’Donovan previously said he saw consciousness in the faces.
