The six-part “Hermitage Sunsets @ Selby Gardens” will kick off its fifth anniversary season with award-winning theater artist and 2024 Hermitage Greenfield Prize finalist Britton Smith on Thursday, October 17, 5:30pm, at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, 1534 Mound Street, Sarasota. On Thursday, December 5 at 5:30pm, Hermitage Fellow Claire Chase will perform and share some of her newest works at Selby Gardens. The season’s performers for the Thursday, January 30, Thursday, February 20, Thursday, March 6 and Thursday, May 1 concerts have yet to be announced. Each concert has a $5 registration fee. LAKELAND, Fla. — A serious crash involving injuries caused traffic to back up Saturday afternoon on eastbound I-4 in Lakeland, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Motorcyclist killed after colliding with driver making U-turn in Lakeland, deputies say
LAKELAND, Fla. - A 44-year-old Mulberry man died after a crash in north Lakeland on Friday night, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
