A teenage girl suffered life-threatening injuries and two other teens were injured after being assaulted on Wednesday in North St. Paul.

North St. Paul Police Department said on Facebook that its officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of 11th Avenue at 7:00 p.m. for a report of an assault.

When North St. Paul and Maplewood police arrived, they found a teenage girl gravely injured. Authorities immediately provided EMS care, taking her to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her current condition remains unknown. This juvenile female was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

Two additional teenagers, one boy and one girl, were also assaulted in the same incident and were taken to the hospital before police arrived.

Early evidence shows a group gathered in a parking lot at the 2200 block of McKnight when a fight broke out between the group, but it is unclear when the assault took place.

Police have not said how the teenagers were attacked but confirm that they were not shot. Of the three victims, two are stable and one remains in critical condition. No suspects have been named yet.
