Lowell Thomas Exhibit and Americana Wing Reopens
The tornado on May 7, 2024, disrupted many lives and caused extensive damage to a large swath of the City of Greenville. Although life has returned to normal for most, the destruction that was caused is still evident. Buildings have yet to be repaired in the City Park, roofs remain covered with blue tarps awaiting roofing crews to become available to make repairs, and some are still waiting for trees to be completely cleared.
Free Family Art Day at Bear’s Mill
The Darke County Parks District and Darke Center for the Arts will team up on Saturday, August 3rd with Ohio Second Lady Tina Husted at Historic Bear’s Mill as part of its 175th anniversary celebrations. This free community event will take place at 6450 Arcanum Bear’s Mill Rd., Greenville, OH 45331 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Families are invited to explore several stations of free try-it art stations, including pottery demos, flower pounding, natural rubbings & stamping, painting, and more!
