Man killed in Lower Wacker hit-and-run, Chicago police searching for driver of semi-truck
A man was killed while walking in Downtown on Wednesday night, Chicago police said.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watchThe victim was walking near the 90-block of East Lower Wacker Drive around 10:05 p.m. when he was struck by a semi-truck, police said.After striking the man, the driver of the semi fled the scene.The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.No one is in custody. Man found fatally shot on Albany Park sidewalk
CHICAGO — A man found unresponsive on a sidewalk in Albany Park early Tuesday was shot to death, officials say. Officers responding to calls of a person down found the 59-year-old Evanston man lying near a strip mall in the 3300 block of West Lawrence around 2:37 a.m. Chicago Fire Department personnel attempted to save the man, but he succumbed to his injuries at Swedish Hospital a short time later.
