Kennebunk Fire-Rescue says David Tapley, a firefighter and EMT, was vacationing with family in Cape Cod at Dyer Pond on Saturday when he saw someone trying to help a man who was struggling in the water.
Saint John’s basketball coach retires after 44 years as winningest coach
Saint John’s High School announced on Tuesday that Robert Foley, the head coach of the Pioneers basketball team, has retired after 44 seasons at the program’s helm. Foley is the winningest coach in the program’s history and will retire with an overall record of 774-246. In addition to 14 Central Catholic conference championships, he brought Saint John’s to nine state finals, winning two Division I state championships in 2000 and 2009.
