Sunday Thunderstorms Expected Across the Southwestern Ohio Valley
Wilmington, OH – Residents in the Ohio Valley can expect a change in weather starting Sunday as showers and thunderstorms are forecasted to hit the region. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wilmington, OH, reports that while the area remains dry today, wet weather will arrive by Sunday, affecting portions of eastern Indiana, southwest Ohio, and northern Kentucky.

Syracuse man faces 16 years for child molestation
A Syracuse man will serve 16 years in prison for molesting a child. Thomas Books III, 34, was charged with felony child molesting in a plea agreement. Last November, police say a witness saw Books inappropriately interacting with a child. Books admitted to the crime. The 16-year sentence is the maximum amount of time a defendant in the state of Indiana can receive for a Level 3 felony.
