    Ivyland teen one of two charged in North Wildwood assault

    A teenager from Ivyland is one of two charged with an assault in North Wildwood at the Jersey shore earlier this month, according to a police report first reported by Fox 29.

    North Wildwood police say a 17-year-old from Philadelphia and the 16-year-old from Bucks County turned themselves in after several tips were received from the public following an aggravated assault that occured on the boardwalk near 26th Avenue on June 8.

    Both unidentified teens are facing juvenile charges for third-degree aggravated assault and thirrd-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

    Philadelphia's ABC 6 reported earlier this month that Kenneth Golembewski, of Lebanon County, said his 22-year-old son was a victim of the alleged attack that followed a verbal dispute.

    Golembewski said his son was with his girlfriend at a nearby arcade when the teens allegedly made a comment directed at the girlfriend.
