A group of Stockton University students are spending their summer working with the Coastal Research Center. Their job is to get wet and mark the shoreline. The group was recently out in North Wildwood. They are taking measurements at 171 different beaches this summer, tracking how the shore extends and retracts due to storms and the resulting beach replenishment projects. All of the data will go back to the Department of Environmental Protection. The project has been ongoing since the 1980s. A new group of students comes out every summer to track the shoreline. "
