Bennett secures another top-3 finish on Korn Ferry Tour
GLENVIEW, Illinois (KBTX) - Former Texas A&M golfer Sam Bennett tied for third place at the NV5 Invitational as part of the Korn Ferry Tour. Bennett’s -22 finish was three strokes behind the winner, Thomas Rosenmueller. Bennett shot 67, 64, 64, 67 in his four rounds on the par-71 course at the Glen Club.
Murder Investigation By College Station Police
A 17 year old was shot to death Sunday night (July 28) in College Station. As of Monday at 11 a.m., the only information released by College Station police is that 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting gunfire, an officer finding the victim in the area of George Bush East and University Oaks, and that family members have been notified of the young man’s death.
