Authorites are looking for a Brockton man who is facing a murder charge in the death of a teenager at a party in Northborough in May.

Erik Coelho dos Santos, 20, was among the hundreds of people at a birthday gathering at 333 Howard St. that continued into the morning of May 12, according to authorities.

About 1 a.m., gunfire rang out, with at least two people struck. One of those hit, Ygor Correia, 16, of Milford, was rushed to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where he was pronounced dead. The second person was treated at a hospital and released.

Tuesday, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office announced that dos Santos was the subject of an arrest warrant charging him with murder. His whereabouts are unknown, according to the DA's office.

Days after the killing, three others were charged in connection to the case. They face gun charges, with dos Santos the first charged with murder.

The shooting happened at a property listed on a real estate rental-booking site. A 21st birthday was being celebrated, with approximately 300 people on scene when officers arrived, according to Northborough police.

The shooting occurred not long after officers learned someone at the party had shown a gun, authorities said.

Soon after the shooting, a car was stopped not far from the location. Officers made arrests in connection to the shooting. Dos Santos was not among them.

Ygor Correia, the victim, was a sophomore at Milford High School.
