Laurel Health opens applications for dental and nursing scholarships

Tioga, Bradford, and Potter counties — Laurel Health Centers have opened their annual scholarship applications for Penn College dental hygienist or licensed practical nurse (LPN) students.

The scholarship is open to any student accepted to the Penn College dental hygienist or LPN program, but preference will be given to candidates who live in Tioga, Bradford, or Potter County. There will be a special focus on nursing program students this year.

Laurel Health will provide up to $12,500 in assistance per student as well as guaranteed job placement at a Laurel Health clinic for two years after graduation. Following fulfillment of the two-year service commitment, there will be an option to transition into permanent employment with Laurel Health.

Sponsorship spots are limited, and applications are due June 30, 2024.
