Lane restriction on I-80 eastbound in Union County due to crash

Montoursville, Pa. – A lane restriction is in place on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 199 (Mile Run Exit) in West Buffalo Township, Union County, due to a vehicle crash. Expect the left (passing) lane to be restricted.

Traffic is backed up approximately 2-miles from the crash site. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.

According to a 10:54 a.m. post on Union County Fire Wire, the crash was severe and required multiple rescue units and Lifeflight 4.

There is no word yet on the type or number of vehicles involved in the crash or suspected injuries.
