Williamsport, Pa. — Here is your daily look back at standout moments of the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series:

What a night: The Mid-Atlantic bounced back with a 5-0 victory over New England Saturday night. The majority of fans were cheering on the PA kids as they put together a strong performance to fight off elimination.

Clutch hit: Saverio Longo singled in the fourth inning, sparking a rally by Mid-Atlantic. Brayden Peiffer scored on the single. The offense opened up for its best inning of the Series to score four runs.

Pitch of perfection: Tyler Neeld went 5.1 innings into the game Saturday night. He finished with eight strikeouts against one walk. New England scratched out two hits, but stranded both runners.

“When I heard I was getting the ball I was very excited,” Neeld said. “I knew I was going to throw strikes and I knew my defense had my back.”

Confident thrower: Neeld sounded ready for the elimination game. This could lead to big things for Pennsylvania.

“Whenever I hear I'm getting the ball or just coming in, I'm happy and excited because I know I’m going to do well,” Neeld said. “I know that even if I give up a few runs it doesn't matter. It's next batter and just keep doing the same thing.”

Making the dream work: Canada didn’t blink after Puerto Rico took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Canada scored 12 runs in the second inning. The output was highlighted by Eric Popovich, who hit a line drive into centerfield for a two-RBI double.
