Williamsport, Pa. — Scores of Little League players from around the world got the chance to greet some of Major League Baseball's biggest stars Sunday, as two teams flew into the region for the Little League Classic.

The Detroit Tigers were the first to arrive Sunday morning, stepping onto the tarmac of the Williamsport Regional Airport to a legion of Little League players from Santa Clara, representing the Cuba Region, and Boerne Little League in Texas, representing the Southwest Region.

The New York Yankees followed, with the Cardenales, Venezuela team representing the Latin American Region, and the Paseo Verde team from Nevada representing the Mountain Region greeting the players as they stepped off the plane.

This is the seventh installment of the Little League Classic, which brings MLB teams to Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport during the Little League World Series. The game airs tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
