Rep. Jamie Flick to host Human Services Expo with Speaker Series

Williamsport, Pa. — State Rep. Jamie Flick is extending an invitation to an annual Human Services Expo and Speaker Series on Thursday, Sept. 12 at Penn College.

The free, public event will help connect attendees with services, programs, and support systems to help themselves and their families thrive. During last year's expo, over 70 different agencies set up tables on the Penn College campus, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Roads to Freedom Center for Independent Living, Hope Enterprises, and the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

The Speaker Series begins at 2 p.m. and will feature retired Army Master Sergeant Kevin Bittenbender, Rep. Tarik Khan, and Alivia Tagliaferri.

Afterward, the Human Services Expo will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature vendors, organizations, people, and programs providing health and human services and other means of support. Vendors will share materials, provide information, and be on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments will also be provided.
