Wolf Township, Pa. — Police say they arrested a Lairdsville man after he broke into a Wolf Township home and attempted to abduct two children.

Trooper Aaron Mylan of PSP Montoursville says police received a call on July 15 for a protection from abuse violation in progress. Austin White, 23, had entered a home and tried to abduct two children.

While inside, White also allegedly assaulted another occupant in the home before fleeing into the nearby woods, police said.

White was apprehended a short time later and charged with 25 counts including felony kidnapping, burglary, criminal trespass, misdemeanor simple assault, and multiple counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

White's case was waived at his preliminary hearing and he is scheduled to enter a guilty plea on Nov. 15 at Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas. White remains in Lycoming County Prison.
