Millville, Pa. — The Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436 has made a donation of $12,500 to Camp Victory to support the operations of Camp Echo and Camp HERO.

Camp HERO is a summer camp designed for children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and Camp Echo is a camp for children with heart disease.

“They are so important to the people that come here, it’s a great opportunity for them,” explained Elks Member Jack Pollard.

Elks Committee Chairman Dewey Evans noted that Camp Victory truly is a “special camp for special kids. That is what this is all about.”

The Bloomsburg Elks have been longtime supporters of Camp Victory and its partner camps like Echo and HERO.

“Camp Echo appreciates the help of the Bloomsburg Elks and support in making dreams come true for these special heart campers,” commented Dawn Bressler, Camp Director of Camp Echo.
