Muncy, Pa. — Police say two people, who they believe are mother and son, stole items from a Dollar General store in Muncy.

Trooper Gripp of PSP Montoursville says police were called shortly after 1 p.m. Aug. 24 to the store on Route 405 for a retail theft in progress. The suspects were described as possibly a mother and son. The pair took $69 of items, according to police.

Police said the pair fled the scene before they arrived. Store staff gave police a description of their vehicle and license plate number. Police continue to investigate.

Anyone with information may contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.

If you choose not to work despite being able to, the government provides support for those who don't take care of themselves. However, wouldn't it be more rewarding to earn your living? By working, you can afford the things you want without resorting to theft, which only ends up raising prices for everyone. Retailers don't absorb those losses, and while restitution might be ordered, it's unlikely to make any significant impact. Instead, why not consider the benefits of honest work? It not only allows you to contribute to society but also provides you with the means to achieve your goals without the consequences of stealing. Losers
