Mill Hall, Pa. — A man who was ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend reportedly broke into her house to watch television while she was at work.

Gregory Charles Price, 49, answered the door at his ex-girlfriend's home in the 200 block of Frederick Street when police knocked on July 12. Price's ex had called police when she arrived home from work just before noon and heard the TV on as she opened the door.

She quickly fled to a nearby Sheetz and called 911, according to Trooper Grant Ralston of state police at Lamar. Although she didn't go far enough in the house to see who was inside, she told Ralston it was likely Price, who had allegedly violated a previous Protection from Abuse order in the same way. She had a current PFA against him and had him evicted from the home in January, court records show.

When troopers arrived at the home, they noticed the door frame appeared damaged. The victim told police she had locked the house when she left. Price reportedly answered the door when police knocked.

Price, Coburn, was charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
