Bloomsburg, Pa. — A Bloomsburg couple is facing charges after they allegedly removed a truck and trailer from their property ahead of a sheriff's sale.

Gary Lee Snyder, 59, and his wife, 58-year-old Wendy Snyder, were evicted from their home at 33 Ridgewood Drive, South Centre Township, in June, according to Columbia County Sheriff's Deputy Jonathan Broadt. The Snyders had not been paying their rent and a levy was issued on behalf of the landlord.

The property, a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2015 Tarter trailer was set to be sold on Aug. 14 at their former home, Broadt said. When sheriff's deputies arrived to conduct the sale, the truck and trailer were gone.

Although the deputies waited at the site "a reasonable amount of time," the Snyders did not appear with the vehicle and trailer.

They are both being charged with defrauding creditors.

But creditors can defraud anyone. I know this is a rent issue, but the local governments have defrauded property taxation for decades. The tide is turning though. There is an audit movement gaining traction. Most localities have violated little known laws governing property taxes. One issue is not taking into account the median income of all residents. It’s a scam, and a big one. I need to repost the article.

Our country is in hard times because of democrat policies. Democrats have given us high everything prices, interest rates, involvement in two wars, and open borders. Our tax dollars are paying for illegals housing, food, and medical expenses.
