Williamsport, Pa. — Williamsport police say they're investigating reports of a man shooting at a driver Saturday afternoon.

Williamsport Police Units responded to a report of shots being fired in the 600 Block of Second Avenue just after noon.

Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with several witnesses, who all stated that they observed a male individual who was walking along the street pointing a handgun and firing multiple shots toward a black sedan driving alongside him on the roadway.

Shortly after the shots were fired, both the actor and the vehicle were observed fleeing the scene. At the time of the arrival of police, there was no indication that any victims suffered any injuries. Shortly after the initial response, additional officers responded to assist with securing the scene and collecting evidence.

The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
