Arrest warrant issued for man who allegedly threatened woman with machete

Windham Township, Pa. — A 30-year-old Bradford County man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a woman with a machete.

Troopers with PSP Towanda said Nicholas Cron of Athens, Pa., is wanted for making threats with a weapon toward a 39-year-old woman from Nichols, NY. Troopers were dispatched to Osborne Hill Road/Route 187 on July 26 to investigate where they learned that Cron had made threats with a machete.

Cron is charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person. He also faces summary harassment charges.

Police are asking anyone with information on Cron's whereabouts to contact PSP-Towanda at 570-265-2186.
