The case for 2 new health centers in the Northeast
City Council said that the Northeast needs more health centers when it included funding for two new health centers in the Lower Northeast in this year’s budget. • The University of Tampa has honored 2,217 students who were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list. Burholme OKs loft, fence
The Burholme Civic Association last week weighed two zoning cases. First, the group heard from the owner of a house at 7320 Montour St. who wants to build a loft over a detached garage. The man’s wife is a social worker employed by an adoption agency. The space would be used for her to communicate with parents. After the man agreed to not turn the loft into living space, Burholme voted 11-4 to support his request for a variance.
