BBB names finalists for ’24 Torch Awards for Ethics, Spark Awards for young entrepreneurs

BBB Cincinnati has revealed the finalists of the 2024 Torch Awards for Ethics, Greater Cincinnati’s premier ethics-centered awards program for businesses and nonprofits, and the finalists of the 2024 Spark Awards recognizing exceptional young entrepreneurs and new businesses.

Finalists will be honored at an awards gala, with tickets now available for those eager to celebrate and network with the region’s most ethical organizations.

The 13 local organizations named Torch Awards for Ethics finalists this year are:

The six local businesses named Spark Awards finalists this year are:

• Gifts of a Goddess LLC
• PEOPLEfirst Talent & Retention Consulting

Winning organizations will be revealed live onstage at the 2024 Torch Awards for Ethics and Spark Awards Gala on Thursday, October 3, 5:30–8:30 p.m. at The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati.

For over two decades, the iconic Torch Awards for Ethics program has distinguished hundreds of local businesses and nonprofits of all sizes, from all industries. Eligible applicants go through a process of self-evaluation submitted to a panel of judges, who name winners based on their dedication to ethics. The 2024 Torch Awards finalists and winners were selected for their character-driven operations, extraordinary workplace cultures, and dedication to customers and the community.

Launched in 2019, the BBB Spark Awards celebrate outstanding young entrepreneurs, business owners, and startup founders (35 years old or younger) and distinguished new businesses (in operation three years or less). Through the Spark Awards, BBB shines a light on the next generation of ethical businesses. Spark Awards finalists and winners have character-driven leaders, positive workplace cultures, and strong community engagement worth celebrating and supporting.
