This September, bourbon enthusiasts are invited to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month, a month-long celebration of “America’s Native Spirit.” Northern Kentucky is the edge and beginning of “bourbon country” – Kentucky – which is the epicenter of the culture and history of the spirit.

The Kentucky Distillers’ Association (KDA) reports that the $9B signature industry for the Commonwealth helps to generate more than 23,100 jobs with an annual payroll topping $1.63B. Additionally, the production and consumption of bourbon pours more than $358M annually into tax revenue for Kentucky’s state and local governments, including those located here in the region.

meetNKY, Northern Kentucky’s Visitors Bureau, invites locals to be tourists in their own city and explore The B-Line, a self-guided passport bourbon experience, perfect for bourbon enthusiasts and bourbon-curious visitors alike. Comprised of seven official Kentucky Bourbon Trail distilleries, nine bourbon bars, and nine bourbon-centric restaurants, visitors can pick up a B-Line guide and passport at any location and visit just two distilleries, two bars, and two restaurants for a chance to receive FREE B-Line swag.

Throughout September, meetNKY in conjunction with The B-Line, is sharing a running list of ways to celebrate:
