    Mammoth Music & Arts Festival debuts in Newport, celebrating local music, art, culture

    The Mammoth Music & Arts Festival is gearing up to make its debut in Newport for the first time on Sunday. The event will celebrate local and regional music, art, and culture and is expected to draw music and art fans from across the region. The fest is a FREE public event made possible by community support. The fest is scheduled from 1 to 8 p.m. with over 25 bands across 4 stages.

    Mammoth will transform East 6th Street in Newport between Monmouth & Saratoga streets into a vibrant wonderland of music, art, and unforgettable FUN for FREE to the public.

    Get your groove on with diverse musical performances across various genres and exhibitions featuring over 20 talented local artists. The musical lineup includes everything from Funk to Punk, Hip Hop, Rock, Country, Bluegrass and DJ’s.

    From 1-8 p.m., you’ll find the following acts:

    • Headliners include Jason Carter Band, Taylor Hunnicut, War Curse, The Tigerlilies, and Brother Smith.

    • Joining these headlining acts is a dynamic roster of talent featuring Jess Lamb/Siri Imani, The Hiders, Lions Rampant, 222s, Smokin’ Zeus, Animal Crackers, Freekbass, Jamie Carr Band, Veronica Grim, Blessed Black, War Curse, Luke Windland, Michael Williams, Josh Eagle, Ryan Malott, Joe’s Truck Stop, and Brother Smith and more.

    • Food, beverages, artists and more on East 6th Street between Monmouth and Saratoga Streets. Festival-goers can also look forward to a wide-range of food and beverage options from local restaurants, breweries and distilleries. It will be lined with stages, a Bourbon Experience presented by New Riff Distilling, art vendors, and street performers.

    • Tastes and libations of Newport: Newport Pizza, Pompilios – Sweet Tooth, Ice Cream & Ice Balls, and Shiners on the Levee / New Riff Distilling, Pensive Distilling and 16 Lots Southern Outlet Brewery.

    • In addition to the musical and artistic offerings, a handful of interactive activities will be available, including a trip down memory lane for the punk rock scene connected with Newport with “The Jockey Club” – a punk rock experience.
