Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky to hold open house on newest home renovation

Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky (HONK) will host an open house on October 24 to recognize its newest home renovation in Covington. The open house will give community members a chance to view the completed home before an individual or family inhabits it.

The free event will feature snacks, beverages, self-guided tours, and a brief presentation by Jeremy Lawson, HONK Construction Manager. Pictures of the home before its renovation, details of the construction process, and how various challenges were overcome will be shared.

The open house will be hosted on October 24, from 4-6 p.m. at 4541 Huntington, Ave., Covington KY. The presentation will be given at 4:30 p.m.

HONK is a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission of creating affordable homeownership for people in Northern Kentucky through the renovation and rehabilitation of homes, a lease-to-own model, and emotional and educational support.
